We've enjoyed a few fun trips this summer. We went to Denver for a couple of weeks to visit Trina's sister and her family and Scott's grandparents and aunt. We didn't take many pictures in Denver, but we really enjoyed ourselves.
Over the Fourth of July we enjoyed a trip up to my families cabin where I grew up going ever summer for family reunions. We only spent a few nights at the cabin, but took a little time to let Evelyn play in the lake. There was a ton of pollen in the lake and it looked like algae. For the day that we spent there, it was blown against our shore, but the next day, our shore was clear. We spent most of the week camping in the Tetons. It was very pretty up in the mountains and it was a lot of fun to go camping and hiking. The girls did pretty well with the camping. Allison liked being held almost constantly because there wasn't anywhere to set her down. Evelyn loved all the dirt and rocks and sticks and....... that surrounded her everywhere she turned. She got a lot of clothes very dirty. It was a very fun vacation and it was fun to spend time with my family before we leave for New York in a week and a half.
Evelyn was having fun playing in the lake up at the cabin. Allison didn't really mind the water either, but she made sure that she slobbered all over my shoulder first. Evelyn loves the water if she can get in on her own, but not if it's someone else's idea.

After two long days of hiking, Scott decided to take a bath in the 37-40 degree river that came from snow melt. I wish you could hear the "cold" noises he was making as he splashed water on himself.
Evelyn wanted to always wear a backpack. She decided to try to carry Allison up the mountain.
